We Will Again Be Optimists is a post 9/11 companion piece to LEAP (2000). The piece begins with a simple jump that is transformed into an ascendance. It is a site-specific, five-channel projection made for the historic banking hall at 48 Wall Street. The images are projected over existing early twentieth century murals depicting day-to-day life in downtown New York.
